competitive USA Swimming sanctioned swim team recently founded in Las Cruces,
New Mexico.

WILD swimmers and coaches at 2010 Suntan Classic
Congratulations to the WILD State Championship Team for placing 5th at the
State Championship, 7/30-8/1. This is the highest finish for WILD in it's
team history. WILD won 14 different events and had 32 top 3 Finishes.
Athletes who placed first in one or more events were: Sam Harding (Girls
15&O 200 Free, 400 Free, 800 Free, 1500 Free, 200 Back) Tory Hale (Boys 15&O
50 Free, 100 Free, 50 Back, 50 Fly) Mitchell Reed (Boys 15&O 100 Fly). WILD
also won the Girls 15&O 200 Free and 200 Medley Relays. The Boys won the
15&O 200 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relays. Athletes on these relays include:
Jorgi Hobson, Josi Gabaldon, Lauren Salas, Vivian Links, Alex Reed, and Jay
O'Connor.
WILD swimmers performed well at the Tucson Ford Dealers Southwest Classic
June 10th -13th. The men's team of Zach Garcia, Alex Reed, Mitchell Reed,
and Tory Hale scored points in the 400M freestyle and medley relays, while
the women's team of Josi Gabaldon, Vivian Links, Jorgi Hobson, and Sam
Harding scored in the 400M medley and freestyle relays as well as the 800M
freestyle relay. Earning individual points were Tory Hale (11th in the 50M
freestyle) and Sam Harding (1st in the 400M freestyle and 3rd in the 800M
freestyle.
Congratulations to the WILD Senior Sectional Team of Sam Harding, Jorgi
Hobson, Josi Gabaldon, and Tory Hale for placing 29th out of a field of more
than 150 of the fastest teams from the Western Section. This meet features
the best athletes from 12 of the Western States. WILD finished 1st among all
teams in New Mexico Swimming. Tory Hale scored in the 50 Free (2nd), 100
Free (6th), and the 100 Back (15th). Sam Harding scored in the 1000 Free
(13th) and the 1650 Free (7th).
