Congratulations to Letticia Martinez for her American Records for fully blind swimmers in the 50yd Free, 200yd Free, 100yd Fly, and 50m Free. These records are a testament of human determination and Letticia's courageous spirit.
Congratulations to Samantha Harding for qualifying for the Olympic Trials!!! This feat solidifies Sam’s spot among USA Swimming’s elite athletes. Sam has qualified in the 400 Meter Freestyle with a time of 4:19.27, and in the 400 Meter Individual Medley with a time of 4:55.55

WILD's Age Group State Team's just finished an incredible two weekends worth of Swimming at the 8&Under and 14&Under State Championships! WILD had 4 1st place finishes, 12 Top 3 Finishes, and 31 Top 8 finishes! 37 Team records were broke, bringing the total for the year to 252! The State Champions were Sierra Ortiz (Girls 10&Under 200 Free), Sean McNulty (Boys 8&Under 100 Free), and Elizabeth Vanderlugt (Girls 8&Under 100 Free and 50 Breast). Other WILD swimmers to finish in the top 8 in at least one individual event were: Sara Algarate-Carter, Sue Harding, Emilee Lopez, and Mason Hobson. Congratulations swimmers on an awesome Short Course season!

WILD brought a team of 6 swimmers up to Federal Way, WA March 8-11 for the Western Zone Sectional Championship Meet, one of the fastest Sectional Championship meets in USA Swimming! Sam Harding continued her assault on the NM Swimming Record Books by breaking the Girls 17-18 and Senior State Records in the Women's 200m IM (2:19.83) and 200m Free (2:06.23). Harding placed 9th in the 200m IM, and made the top 8 in the 200m Free placing 6th. Harding also made the top 8 in the 400m Free (5th), and 800m Free (2nd). Tory Hale also placed in the top 8 in the Men's 50m Free finishing 8th.
